Gul Noor

The Gul Noor chandelier is a sculptural lighting piece that blends organic forms with intricate textures, inspired by nature and traditional Indian craftsmanship. Its glass elements, adorned with geometric patterns and metallic finishes, create a mesmerizing interplay of light and shadow. Suspended from sleek, branch-like structures, the design evokes the elegance of blooming flowers, making it a striking yet graceful statement for any space. 🌸💡

To understand the construction of the installation, an exploded view was developed to illustrate how individual components come together as a cohesive structure. This diagram highlights the modular breakdown of the frame, lighting elements, joinery, and diffusers, giving clarity on assembly and material integration.

This visualization places the chandelier in relation to human scale, emphasizing its proportion and intended presence within an interior. Beyond size reference, it highlights how the piece interacts with its surroundings—balancing grandeur with usability, and ensuring the design complements rather than overwhelms the space.

Closing Note: Gul Noor Installation
Bringing Gul Noor from paper sketches to reality has been a journey of immense hard work and discovery. From sourcing electricals and materials to understanding the limitations of glass and metal, every challenge pushed me to explore and learn. The process demanded patience, precision, and countless iterations, but the satisfaction of seeing the chandelier come alive makes it all worthwhile. For me, Gul Noor is more than a lighting installation—it is a testament to the joy of turning vision into reality, where design, craft, and light converge beautifully.
